Elitism in education is often applied by a different and prefered approach to students belonging the so-called elite. This elite segregated developed, at expense of needs other students. Can elitism be one problems pedagogical practice with intellectually gifted ordinary inclusive primary schools? We carried out qualitative research environment schools observing school lessons interviews teachers. spent 70 hours eight schools, tracking 24 The aim was identify describe situations leading pupils. focused on teachers as creator modified curriculum for pupils, which gives space emergence elitism. analyzed data using open axial coding. found that apply all components curriculum, but especially strategies such extracurricular activities, teacher's assistant, complementary tasks group work. Finally, features are defined. Research highlights negative consequences increasing formal support giftedness.
